YES Company has helped me and so many others find the best in themselves. We are truly a family.

Hey, what's up? It's Shelby.  Funny story: well a couple days ago, Keaton Justin and I went around the corner from the YES office, and walked to the karate school.  We were going to get a form about applying there, but they didn't have any.  So the lady that was at the front desk told us that we could have a free week of the class, and one free private lesson!

It was really cool because all of us are going to do karate now and I'm so excited.  Well anyways, I just want to say that YES Ambassadors has given me great memories, and I have made some great friends.  Well, see you later.

Justin F. (December 17, 2008)

Well, this is Justin and here's my Ambassadors blog. YES Ambassadors is an awesome program, with many memories and jokes. From the insane week of 5 run-throughs in one day, to us freezing at outside performances; From getting out of school for a performance, to time when me and Keaton networked at Gallo... there have been some great times.

A crazy story actually happened less than 24 hours prior to writing this. So -  Keaton and I thought we had a performance when actually it was the next day... So we go to SCOE and are told by the security guard that someone from YES had come and said something about 16th street (we were on 12th Street), so we jog to 16th street and call Mr. Joliff and Melanne and find out it's actually tomorrow.

So we walk back to SCOE, and since we had to kill time we walk into H Street Cafe and are like "how is it  goin'? How long have you been open?" 5 years come to find out!

"Merry Christmas from YES!" I say. "We should sing."

Keaton says, "No."

They say, "Yes!" So we sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas then walk back to SCOE.

Well that was my craziest Ambassadors story. Thanks for reading. Peace out!

Alex L. (December 12, 2008)

Hey guys its Alex. I just got home from singing to Mel’s mom with you guys. That meant so much to me that I was able to perform for her. I love being a YES Ambassador. Besides YES Company, it is my favorite thing to do in my whole life. I'm really sad I wasn’t able to do all of the performances, but the ones I was able to go to were really some of the best times I’ve ever had. I love being with you guys and getting to know you even better.

As you all probably know now, school isn’t my favorite thing to do and since you do know me, you know that I always try to have fun with everything (sometimes that’s what gets me in trouble), but I try never to have a dull moment. Sometimes my home isn’t the most fun place to be either. You should see the look on my face when I'm on my way to YES; I’m smiling from ear to ear because this is one of the only things I do that makes me feel like being at home should feel like. You guys (like it or not) are my family and I love each and every one of you like you wouldn’t believe. When I’m at school I look forward to coming to Ambassadors and when I’m down this is what I think of to get me up (being with you guys).

I’m so thankful that I am in Ambassadors and it means so much to me that I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know all of you. I’m already looking forward to seeing you guys again. I really don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself from now until the next time, but if I don’t talk to you guys or see you I hope you all have a merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Love, Alex
