Conflicts

Must be submitted in writing and approved in advance.

Emergencies, illness, tardiness: reported by telephone 238-6850.
·
Students will not be permitted to participate in YES if they
are involved in a concurrent performing arts production.
Attendance
& Behavior Guidelines
·
All rehearsals, performance, and exit meeting attendance is
mandatory.
·
“Contract of Commitment” and “Rehearsal Guidelines” must be
followed. Students will be asked to
withdraw if they are unable to adhere to scheduling and behavior
expectations.
Fees
·
There is a participation tuition of $200.00 per student.
This is to directly offset production
costs.
·

Tuition scholarships are available.
Applications are considered using the National Poverty Guidelines.
Notice of scholarship status is by mail. All application and grant
information is confidential.

Those not receiving a scholarship may
arrange a payment schedule.

Further donations greatly accepted.
·
A photo CD with hundreds of pictures will be available for sale at the
production for $20.
·
Merchandise sales at this production benefits the YES KIDS
program.
·
Some basic hygiene, hair & make-up needs may be left to the student
to provide for themselves.

will be gathered, compiled & distributed for families to arrange.

1. Be
on Time!
2. Do
not miss any required rehearsals.
3. Call
the YES Office & leave a message with your telephone number if there
is an emergency and you cannot attend rehearsal.
4. Rehearsals
will be closed to all but the cast and crew members unless previous
arrangements have been approved by the director.
5. Do
not change your appearance in any way without approval from the
director (i.e. no hair cuts or color change).
6. Wear
comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in. No
Birkenstocks or backless shoes or flip-flops. No short skirts or
baggy pants. Dancers – wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
7. No
food, drink or gum during rehearsal or in the rehearsal area.
8. Smoking,
use of alcohol or any other illegal substances during any YES KIDS
rehearsals, performances or gatherings will not be tolerated.
9. Must
stay in the rehearsal vicinity. Do not leave the area.
10. No
cell phone use or socializing during rehearsals.
11. Respect
each other’s personal boundaries and experiences. Inappropriate
verbal, visual, or electronic communication will not be tolerated.
12. No
romances during rehearsal and performance time. Stay focused.
13. Respect
all facilities in which YES KIDS rehearse and perform.
14. Maintain
respect and consideration for others and their property.
15. Inappropriate
behavior, lack of discipline or activity that may threaten personal
or company safety may result in immediate dismissal from the program
with no fee refunds.
16. Always
bring your script, music, calendar, and pencil.
17. No
teasing or making fun of anyone.
18. Be
willing and open to take direction – even if it sounds new or
strange to you at first.
19. No
absences unless there is any emergency.
Any rehearsals missed within the two weeks
prior to opening may result in being dropped from the Company.
20. Rehearsals
are practice. So you may not learn everything right away. Don’t be
discouraged.
21. No
matter what role you are playing – each and every one of you is an
important component in order to make the show successful!
22. Concentrate!
Watch! Listen! Learn! Most important ---Have
Fun!!!!!
SUGGESTION: Bring a snack/lunch
and/or water bottle for breaks.
