FOY Mission
Statement
Friends of YES Company is an enthusiastic group
of volunteers whose mission is to support the energetic talents and abilities of
youth and the goals and values of YES Company.
You may not
know it, but you are a Friend! When you volunteer to sew costumes,
transport sets, or sell concessions; when you or your business donate prizes for
participants, purchase ad space in the program, or enjoy a FOY hosted pre-show
meal for sponsoring a show; when you write a check supporting rehearsal and
production needs, or donate quality clothing, notions, shoes; every little bit
of Friendship helps!
But
there is more to being a Friend. YES Company needs your help coordinating,
planning, and implementing all aspects of project needs. Volunteer hours are
just as valuable as your money and goods. In fact, in-kind volunteer hours
account for two-thirds of YES support and come by way of event planning, party
hosting, costume sewing, ushering, as well as donation seeking.
Anyone
who is willing to help will find rewards awaiting them to be numerous when they
work with FOY. Please consider making this year’s donation one of time and
effort.
